Synovus Bank Credit card delinquent account May 6, 2016 - At one point I had troubled credit. I applied for a First Progress secure card. I started out with a $300.00 limit due to that being the amount of my deposit. I fell on hard times and was not able to continue to pay. I stopped paying the card in which I assumed the deposit would be used to satisfy the debit and account would be closed. Now they are report the account as charged off due to late fees that accrued on the account for - months. Synovus Bank Credit card delinquent account October 12, 2015 - I applied for a fully secured credit card through First Progress on the month of - of 2015 to improve my credit scores. I 'm trying to apply for a mortgage loan in the year to come so having new credit is important to me. My boyfriend completed the credit card application for me because he has had a credit card with them for the past year and it helped his credit improve.
