The locked-in rate was valid for 45 days. - requests many documents separately over numerous times. Our turn-around time for all the requested documents was less than - hours. Many of the requested documents were redundant. eg. request a copy of passport and work visa. The mortgage application process took so long that our 45 days lock-in period has expired on - -. Gateway Funding Mortgage application, originator, mortgage broker June 6, 2015 - I am filing this complaint because, through absolutely no fault of my own, I lost out on a chance to refinance my mortgage on the terms I agreed to when I applied for the loan two months ago. The process was progressing smoothly until the appraisal. When the appraiser came to my home, he hostilely challenged the representation in my loan application that my property is a single family '' dwelling. He insisted it was not. Gateway Funding Mortgage application, originator, mortgage broker April 15, 2015 - Refinanced mortgage with eRates Mortgage ( no prior refinance experience ). The refinance was supposed to be a no-cost loan. Was led to believe by the broker that the lender credit does not have to be on the HUD and will be taken care of separately.
