I returned the car to the airport when I flew home. First, I received letters stating I needed to return the car. I contacted - and stated that I had returned the car. I had to fill out paperwork while at the airport because my mother 's neighbor backed into the car, and I listed her name and insurance information as the responsible party. When I arrived they did not have the intermediate size car I had reserved and prepaid at a rate of $73.00 and could only provide a larger car which would be more expensive. They quoted me an additional $56.00 for the rental. I was not very happy about that but had few options so I accepted. When I returned the car at the time agreed, they instead charged me an additional $150.00 with no explanation or justification for the increase. I did not inspect the vehicle because I picked it up late at night in a rainstorm. When I returned the car the following afternoon the attendant asked me how I damaged the front corner panel. I was shocked. I had not damaged the car in anyway. I filled out a statement with Budget that stated i did not inspect the vehicle and I had no idea how the damage occurred or even if it was while I had the car. This was - -.
