I rented a car from -. I did not inspect the vehicle because I picked it up late at night in a rainstorm. When I returned the car the following afternoon the attendant asked me how I damaged the front corner panel. I was shocked. I had not damaged the car in anyway. I filled out a statement with Budget that stated i did not inspect the vehicle and I had no idea how the damage occurred or even if it was while I had the car. This was - -. Today, I get a call and a letter in the mail from - - -. The letter has no information on the car, the damage, even the rental date - nothing. It is just a bill for $470.00. I called Viking Services and asked for an itemized statement of damage and repairs. I also asked how to dispute the charges. They told me they would send me info on - but have not responded. I told the representative I spoke with i would wait on the line while she collected the info but she said it was a long process. Really? If they want money from me should n't they have all the documentation readily available to them?
