The reason consumers went into these products was so they did n't get stuck when interest rates started to rise - just as the product was marketed by Ally. The funds were sent to the State of New Jersey, though the state has no record of the transfer. Not only did I not think the accounts were dormant, I received emails from the bank ( Ally Bank ) when they were rolled over saying, " The loyalty reward at renewal is automatic, you do n't have to do a thing. '' - CDs had a rollover within the last calendar year, which belies the bank 's claim that the accounts were dormant for 18 months.... |

I can not find my disclosure but I thought that they pay interested in the grace period. I called and they told me that do not pay interest because I close the account.
