I would like to get out of these loans but i can not get a loan to consolidate the payments at a lower rate than the 11 % i am being charged now. This company has alos reported that my loans were past due at times that they were n't and would randomly report that i was 90 days past due and then the next month state that i was current. My question is what are the students supposed to do in the mean time? I just received my monthly statement in the mail and it went up about $100.00 for the month. I cant afford to pay that to them but they wont work with the payments either. So while this plays out in the courts what are we the students supposed to do? Once enrolled I quickly saw how the institution was a joke. Teachers passed you with no problem as long as you showed up for class. I did not want a free ride, I actually wanted to learn a skill that I could utilize in the work field. First Associates Loan Servicing LLC Student loan can't repay my loan can't get flexible payment options March 6, 2016 - - took out a loan on my behalf to pay for a Temporary Credit they say I owed them immediately upon graduation and that I could not setup a payment plan on. My understanding is that this is common practice for them and I am not the only person who has had this happen to them. There is no way I should have even qualified for this loan, or any loan from them, as I had no income and no co-signer when I applied for - and no means to repay the loan other than a promise of a high paying job once I graduated.
