My daughter has a private student loan with wells Fargo. She has truly a high monthly payment which she was making initially, with my assistance. Then when she could no longer make the higher payments, she called wells Fargo, to see if they would accept lower monthly they payments, they refused to work with her. She started sending them what she could afford, which was $300.00 a month and now her account is in default. She called them again and they still refused to work with her on a reasonable monthly payment. She has been receiving several harassing phone calls and several letters. She 's at her wit 's end and does n't know what else to do.
