Citibank Credit card department,
I purchased a - ( not diesel ) in -. It was considered a demo, driven by the - dealer manager for a year. On -, I brought the car in because the engine light was on and I was due for an emission test. ( I regularly had all service done on the car..but not necessarily with -, had issues with them ) I had had an issue with the engine light being on sporadically for as long as I owned the car, it was repaired but then would come back on.The day I brought the car in the - service center said there were 4 issues with it. I picked two to be repaired which would include the engine light issue and the other one - thought was more important, with the other 2 to be repaired at a later date. I had just spent over $2200.00 in repairs 2-3 months previously. Five minutes after I pulled out of the dealership the engine light went back on. I was on my way out of town so I could not return. I am disputing the - charge. I have reached out to the State of CT Attorney General 's office, obviously I am not important enough ... they only do " mediation '' ... I have spent hours putting together all my paperwork..and ST of Ct only sends me - copy of their reply ..twice. I did dispute the charge with my credit card company ( CitiCard ), which they originally credited me..but the charge was put back on my card. I am willing to sacrifice my credit on principal. The employees at the - CT - dealership lied. I am attaching backup for your review. Your help is very much appreciate.
