U.S. Bancorp Credit Card Complaint

Balance transfer

U.S. Bancorp Credit card department,

Balance transfer Arizona

I was offered a balance transfer. No interest until - 2017. I took advantage of special offer and paid the 3 % transaction fee. I have made my payments prior to due date and larger than required. The bank closed my account, did not state why. Then changed my interest rate from zero per offer to a default rate. They also more than doubled my monthly payment. I tried contacting them to resolved on several occasions this month spending more than 30 minutes each time. This is deceptive marketing. I believe due to the fact the closed my account could have negatively impacted my credit which could prevent me from seeking additional credit. I have not missed any payments on any accounts ever. They chose to make balance transfer offer and received offers from them on a monthly basis. Then as soon as I took advantage, they reneged on their " offer '' so they could charge me interest. The already took a large up front fee to take advantage of this offer.
