I sent out a payment via mail in a check form because the website was down and the phone number provided to pay my bill was not accurate. I wrote the check clearly out for the due date which was not for another two weeks, knowing it takes a healthy amount of time to get to the bank I was sending it to. The company ran the check before the date wrote, overdrawing my bank account because the funds were not there. They would not refund the check and would not cancel the payment.
