Consumer Portfolio Services Consumer Loan Complaint

Vehicle loan Shopping for a loan or lease

Consumer Portfolio Services Consumer Loan department,

Vehicle loan Shopping for a loan or lease Ohio

I have submitted this complaint earlier this year, but the issue was not solved. I have applied for a car loan and was approved by a lender ; C.P.S ( Consumer Portfolio Services ) .Do to issues associated with the dealer the deal did not go through, now C.P.S is refusing to lend to me when I already have been approved by them twice. Also they have financed people with a similar credit record and score as I do, but they will not approve me, when I have proof of income and capability to pay the loan. Also the dealerships that I applied for are holding back the interest rate that I qualify for, so they can sell the contract at a higher amount to the lender. I believe that I cant get approved because I challenge high interest rate, when I qualify for a lesser rate. These banks and dealers are refusing to lend to me but they are lending to others who have the same criteria on their credit.Dealerships are also involved in hiding information concerning the obligations to the loan, such as True Market Value, present price of the vehicle, and amount approved for. I think there

*Consumer Portfolio Services- Has approved me and denied me lending without explanation, but they have offered consumers with similar credit data, loan approvals. *- has purposely withheld information from me that would allow me to choose a much favorable interest rate. They also have hidden other lender approvals from me, who offered lower interest rates. This was done in order to sell the contract to a lender at a higher price. * Dealerships are running my credit and sharing my information without my permission after I signed documents stating that I did n't want my information shared and I did not want my credit ran, because I was already qualified for a loan. Dealerships and lenders are lending to people they favor and are not basing qualifications off of credit scores. They are making decisions based off how much information the consumer has. Because I have knowledge of financing and how APR is initiated, I believe that I have been discriminated against in a form of retaliation by way of lending refusal and high interest rates. -
