I recently reviewed my credit report on -/-/- and saw a new entry for a collection account that was placed on my file in - -. It refers to - and is in the amount of approximately $3600.00. We went to a seminar in - held by - in - Tn. and were offered a package THAT COULD BE CANCELLED within 30 days. I contacted them within the 30 day window and cancelled my obligation. I spoke to them verbally and also sent a written request to cancel. The agent for them said she noted our file and acknowledged it was cancelled. Again, the service offered by them was never used in any manner and was cancelled properly. This was 8 years ago. Now, for some reason it has been re-surfaced and turned over to a collection service. I want this removed immediately from my credit report. The debt IS NOT VALID.
