Discover Bank changed the interest rate on my IRA CD from without informing me of a change. I noticed this online when checking my account. Account -. This account was added as a replacement account - due to prior mistake made by Discover Bank. I called the bank to complain on Friday,-/-/2015, and spoke to -. I informed her of prior documentation and case information but she was unable to make the correction and advised me that she would follow up with me but I have not received any other communication from Discover Bank. This is unacceptable. - from Discover Bank called be back today, -/-/2015, to tell me they do not know what caused the problem. The only way they know how to correct the problem is to open a new CD account and transfer the assets into the new account. - said she could not promise that the same problem would happen again. I told her this was unacceptable, since I was the one who noticed the mistake in the first place, and Discover Bank service is inferior. I requested that she escalate to her management my request for immediately liquidating all of my IRA CD accounts, WITHOUT INTEREST PENALTIES, and let me transfer then into another institution.
