The law firm, -, -, - - - - obtained a judgment against me on behalf of MRC Receivables Corp in the amount of $2400.00 in -/-/- and made no attempt to collect for 7 years so that interest could accrue on the debt at 9 %. In -/-/- the judge awarded them the interest and the judgment became $4200.00. My employer deducted bi-weekly from my wages until it was paid in full in -/-/- They never filed a satisfaction of judgment. 7 months later, they contacted my employer claiming that because they never told them to stop sending payments, I now owe interest. Coming again with the interest makes me sure that everything they have done in connection with this case has been a deliberate attempt to inflate the original debt. There are several complaints against this company and this law firm and it is time that someone stand up and stop their deplorable tactics.
