On -/-/2015 on my Amazon Store had promotional balance pay off of -. However the month prior had a promotional balance pay off of $390.00. but I paid - a difference of $90.00. My regular purchase amount on this statement was $200.00 which is being paid only if there is anything left over after the promotional balance. I had $150.00 worth of promotion balance due for pay off on -/-/2015. Since I had the $90.00 credit I paid $70.00 on -/-/2015. Which left $9.00 to be credited to anything upcoming promotional balances. On -/-/2015 I called in because there were errors on my account and I was credited a total of $19.00. My statement closes on the - of every month and therefore the $19.00 was not reflected on my -/-/2015 statement. And the $9.00 was not applied to my account. Today I called in and asked for an explanation of why my payments are being missed applied. I was told that when I make a payment over the promotional pay off amount. The extra amount is applied throughout my account and not to the next expiring promotional balance. I have been told by the Supervisor - that if I want my payment applied to my promotional balance I would have to call in every month and instruct them to do so. Of which I have not had to do in the past. Since Amazon is stating that my promotional of - expired on -/-/2015 because I only made a $70.00 payment on -/-/2015, but I had a credit of $90.00 prior to the $84.00 due on -/-/2015. Amazon is applying my payment as they please. Instead of paying off the next promotional balance they apply only minimum amounts to each open balance.
