I was pre-approved and went through the process of finding a house. After finding a home and having the owner file for bankruptcy in -, I was on the search again. I found a home for sale by owner. So I spoke with my loan officer, - -, and told him that the owner was fine with me moving in with a deposit and she can wait till - to sell the property to me so I could get a - % financing loan. Embrace Home Loans Inc Mortgage application, originator, mortgage broker February 19, 2016 - I applied for a loan with Embrace Home Loans. I paid for an appraisal during the loan process. After several months without hearing from anyone I received a turn down notice. I attempted to call Embrace but the person I had been working with never returned any of my calls. I applied with another company and was approved but they need to have an appraisal done as well. I was advised I could transfer the previous loan but Embrace would have to participate in making that transfer. Unfortunately after numerous calls they will not even return my calls so I may get access to an appraisal I paid for.... |

We have been going through the process since then and they keep asking us for the same documents over and over and keep moving the closing dates and we can not get a straight answer from the Sales Manager, the mortgage manager or the processing department. We get different answers from different people every time we speak to anyone. Very frustrating to say the least plus the fact that my daughter is going through a divorce and wants to move out of their house and move into her new house. please help ... |

I was assured my application would pass at least that is what the loan officer told me. I asked before I paid - for an appraisal. The loan officer said, I do not see why it should not pass ''. So I paid for an appraisal. Also I was told I had a credit score of - and my spouse of -. I received a letter from Embrace denying my application and along with that application was my credit score which read - and spouse was -. Furthermore, the appraisal had errors. - error was the house was built in -/-/-... |
