I 'm currently trying to apply for mortgage loan, during the process my credit report is showing that one of my installment loans with Fifth - Bank is reporting a late payment. I been paying them and never missed a payment with them. Also if you notice In my credit report I have never been late on any of my loans and credit cards. Also I contacted Fifth Third Bank regarding this issue and they have advice me to contact FTC to get it resolved. Fifth Third Financial Corporation Consumer Loan problems when you are unable to pay April 21, 2016 - On -/-/-, I opened a 15 yr boat installment loan, with - - -. Fifth Third bank took over this loan in -/-/-. The final installment was due on -/-/-, and was paid. We then received an additional bill for $5300.00 on this same loan. We have gone to the bank loan officer three times to no avail for an explanation, other than the charge is for additional interest for being late during the course of the loan.
