Debt collection attempts to collect debt not owed debt is not yours December 6, 2017 - I recently discovered that - -Payliance is reporting a debt of $200.00 on my credit reports after applying for a mortgage and was denied. I have never done business with this merchant and do not owe the amount they are claiming I owe. Upon contacting - - the advised me that it was a result of a returned check. When they verified the bank it was check written on an old account I had closed due to misplaced checkbooks. I have tried multiple times via credit bureau disputes and through assistance of credit repair company but - - keeps stating that they have verified this debt... |
