Our daughter worked for U. S. Bank Home Mortgage in -, MN. She passed away unexpectedly on -/-/2016. We, her parents, were beneficiaries of her - savings plan. We have collected the proceeds from that account. We have since received a - which shows there is income tax due on a distribution of - of dollars, which was supposedly used to pay off a loan against this account. We have no knowledge of this loan or payment. We have been trying for weeks to get an annual statement of this account which shows us the dates of loan and payment, how the request for a loan was made, to whom the loan was distributed and how was it distributed. We see no evidence of that amount of money being deposited in our daughters account. We were told that as beneficiaries of this account, we were entitled to this information. We have called them numerous times and talked to various people that always refer us to someone else. ( They have put us on hold for over 50 minutes some times. ) They never call us back as they said they will. It almost seems that they have something to hid and hope we will just go away.
