Cont'd attempts collect debt not owed Debt was paid Michigan

My vehicle was traded to - - - on -/-/16. The original contract was lost by - - - - which caused a delay in the funds being cleared for payoff. The delay and supporting documentation was communicated to Bank of America, but yet their customer service still reported it delinquent to the credit bureau, simply stating there was nothing they could do and that the reporting was an automatic process.
