U.S. Bancorp Consumer Loan department,
Vehicle lease Managing the loan or lease Pennsylvania
I received a red light camera ticket on -/-/2016 and the ticket was sent to US Bank leasing company - it was stamped by their tax servicing department on -/-/2016. At that time, I was unaware the ticket was ever issued. US Bank sat on that ticket until they received a 'Second Notice ' ticket and was stamped by their tax servicing department on -/-/2016. Still unaware that I ever received a ticket, I received both the 1st and 2nd notice, along with a letter from US Bank on -/-/2016. The payment was due on -/-/2016 - Thus a late fee of $20.00 was already charged. I disputed the late payment with the City and advised US Bank NOT to pay the ticket. They told me they would n't. Well, turns out they paid the ticket, including the late fee. They then charged me the ticket amount, plus the late fee, plus a $25.00 fee for processing. I told them that it was unfair that I should n't be responsible for anything but the ticket amount and they refuse to work with me. Bottom line is US Bank neglected to alert me of the receipt of the ticket until it was already too late to pay without incurring a late fee. When instructed not to pay it ( while i disputed the late fee ) - they paid it anyway, and then relished in the opportunity to charge me an additional $45.00. Please rectify. Thank You!
