Non-federal student loan Dealing with my lender or servicer Received bad information about my loan Ohio
A few years ago I was fooled into attending online classes from - university. The classes were worthless and the credits were not able to be transferred to a local university I decided to transfer my degree to. I was under the impression that my loans were all federal, and all through -. I recently had to file bankrupcty and I was aware that my federal student loans were not going to be discharged, and after I received my discharge papers I sat down to go through the mess of student loans. Now all my loans seem to be serviced by navient, including - loan in particular that is a private loan for - university. This loan in particular is listed as a private student loan from - university. There was a lawsuit against the original servicing company and I have already filed for bankruptcy personally. I have spoken with representatives from navient and have repeatedly requested the promissory notes and loan documents but they refuse to provide them. They simply state they have my social security number and am liable for the debt. I was rather naive regarding attending - university and at the time they had all the bells and whistles that made it look like they were going to be a fair and advantageous school to attend. I was sadly mistaken.
