I have a home equity loan with Nevada State Bank dba Zions Bancorp. I live in a flood zone. Every year Zions Bancorp needs proof of flood insurance coverage. This year there was some difficulty getting a declaration page from my insurance with the exactly correct name on it because Zions Bancorp changed their name in some small way so as to make the previous way the name was shown incorrect. After many, many phone calls and follow up conversations with both my insurance company and Zions Bancorp,, the representative told me everything was correct and she had received the exactly perfect declaration page she needed. This was all done in an effort to not be charged their " forced placed '' flood insurance coverage ( $770.00 ). After I was assured Zions Bancorp had received the perfect declaration page, I was charged the $770.00 and it was backdated to -/-/16. After calling the Zions Bancorp representative who assured me I would not be charged, I was told the charge would be removed IN THREE WEEKS. It 's been four weeks now and the charge is still on my account on which I am being charged interest. Nobody at Zions Bancorp can remove this charge. I 've filed a complaint with their customer service, talked to a supervisor, talked with original flood insurance specialist who assured me everything was in place. It 's been a month now and the charge is still on my account.
