Credit monitoring or identity protection Problem with fraud alerts Arizona
I have a security freeze on my credit report with Equifax. I have misplaced the PIN to lift the freeze, and would like a new PIN. I sent certified letters on -/-/- and -/-/- requesting a new PIN, and included copies of 2 forms of ID. The response to my first letter was a form letter stating they could not lift the security freeze without my PIN. The response to my second letter was a form letter stating they had updated my current address within the last 30 days. ( I have a copy of verification of the initial security freeze dated -/-/2014, and it includes the address they claim to have updated within the previous 30 days )
