Fist Advantage was hired to do a background check on me by - 's ( - ). They falsely reported that I was convicted of a felony. After numerous lies being told to me and multiple dispute " tickets '' opened they say that they have updated - yet I am still being told that they have yet to hear. This is costing me financially. If they would have cleared up a honest mistake from the start I would n't be this frustrated but due to the gross negligence of their " investigation '' team I am suffering. As a " background check '' investigation company they should be able to see these things. I had to walk someone named " - '' ( ext - ) through the county website to show him that I do not have a felony on my record. It is all public but their incompetence and negligent team could not figure this out. I feel like they should reimburse me for time lost but I doubt this will happen until the court is involved. I am certain that I am not the only one who has been harmed by their practices. Please let me know what actions can be taken to prevent them from mistreating anyone else and help to resolve this ongoing issue. They continue to lie to not only me but my HR representative. They will say anything to get people off of the phone and lie about actions being taken to help.
