Credit reporting company's investigation problem with statement of dispute
Experian Credit reporting department,
Credit reporting company's investigation Problem with statement of dispute Pennsylvania
My credit monitoring service reported a negative change with Experian. Since my credit score is normally around - i take my credit very seriously. Right away i filed a dispute with Experian online - advising the account is not mine as i dont know the creditor nor do i have knowledge of any business with that entity nor ever received any bills. On - Experian emailed me to advise the item remains on my credit report. Surprised, i called the company reporting the item. They quickly verified the item does not belong to me based on my SSN and DOB. I provided the contact name and extension as well as the info from the creditor they used to verify the account is not mine to Experian via phone on -/-/2016 to - in their -. She re-opened the dispute. I just got back the results today advising the item remains. How is that possible when i already verified with the creditor they show reporting the item, as well as provided details of whom there verified it is NOT my account. Experian is not doing their job properly and i need this item removed from my credit report. Experian has my SSN and DOB. Why cant they compare that against what its being reported and determine it is indeed not my account?
