I have been disputing incorrect information Citi Financial has had on my - credit report for over two years. They have been reporting to - that I have a charged off account that was paid/settled for less than the full balance. I have never been in contact with Citi Financial to discuss a settlement nor did I pay any balance Citi Financial claims I owe for less than the full amount of the original balance. In - -, I received a letter from Citi Financial confirming I have never been involved in any settlement nor have I paid the balance they claim I owe and they would update my credit report to reflect a balance of $6100.00 within 30-45 days of the letter. That has not happened over the last 15 months. In fact after my last dispute of this account with - on -/-/-, they reconfirmed with - on -/-/- that the account was paid for less than full balance. This currently is and has been false information on my - credit report has impacted my ability to apply for loan items. This is a violation of the FRCA and I request this account be removed from my - report immediately.
