Sallie Mae Student loan department,

Non-federal student loan Can't repay my loan Can't get flexible payment options North Carolina

I have asked numerous times for help from Sallie Mae and continuously they have done nothing but offer forbearance I finally caught back up and again ended up falling behind. Today I received a call from their corprate bank asking to help resolve the issue. After several times of being cut off from speak the lady only repeated that they have given me the loan and now I need to pay them back. When I ask for options and help she instead of offering help from the company told me to ask my friends and family for money and told me to try filing for wellfare and food stamps. They refuse to offer me anything because my loan is so small. And said all they could do is come down a dollar on my loan.
