I was using Ally Bank Bill pay service to pay the monthly rent for my apartment. For the month of -, - and - the rent has been paid using the Bill Pay. My account shows that money has been check has been delivered to the landlord and money debitted from my account. But my landlord is not accepting that money has been received. Finally I was put onto the eviction and I was told that I need to pay the month of - 2016 rent with late fees? What 's going on? Who is right - Bank or this landlord. Today in the court this landlord said via his attorney that check has been sent to me via certified mail which I am yet to receive ... for more than 30+ days - i am showing the money has been debitted. I was out of country for almost 6.5 weeks so could n't follow with Ally Bank but they are saying follow up with the landlord. But the landlord is not willing to even talk - one needs to talk to the attorney. I end up paying late payment and unfortunately the original check money is also gone from my account. If money is debited from my account and check has been delivered but landlord is saying that they do n't have the money then where is the money?
