On a recent trip to -, we were charged an exchange rate on our credit card Chase Bank well in excess [ over - % ] of the rates posted at local banks and Chase Bank competitors. The banks market waiving the " transaction fee '' which was for a flat rate communicated by the bank in favor of this much greater fee ... the calculation of which is not stated. Is n't there a fairer way to calculate and communicate the exchange rate? Thanks - -
