JPMorgan Chase & Co. Credit card department,
Transaction issue District of Columbia
I have a -. When choosing a credit card company, my wife and I are always careful to choose a company that has strong system to monitor unusual or suspect activity, which Chase clearly advertises. Also, our credit limit was to be $24000.00, but Chase enabled charges of up to $55000.00 within the same cycle with daily transactions of up to $10000.00 ( which would be both unusual and suspect ) without consistently alerting either my wife or me. We incurred more than $60000.00 in credit card debt and were able to bring that amount to $41000.00 with no means to make the minimum payments. We immediately reached out to Chase to explain our situation and believe that Chase should also be liable for the fact that they did not fulfil their duty of protecting their clients.
