I went into a US Bank banking center to make a payment on my auto loan. The teller put the payment toward my - account with them instead, even after verifying the amount of the auto loan payment. About a week later I got a call from US Bank asking when I could make a payment on my auto loan and that I was now delinquent. I went back to the branch where I made the payment and took my receipt with me. They searched but could not find where the payment was posted, but said they would try to find it and fix their wrongdoing. I have been to - branch locations now over the past three weeks and even though they found the payment posted to my - account they still have not corrected the mistake. It has now been over 30 days and the delinquent calls keep coming in and they claim it is being reported to my credit.
