The VW company does not provide a set date for payment. They change the date monthly on due date. I thought my payment was due on the - of each month. I paid it 29 days late I thought so it would not affect my credit. I was told later, oh it was -/-/-. this is not something people have time to do check monthly payment dates. they dinked my credit, even though they didnt have to. they do this in order to jack up the rate per month on your credit and to stop you from buying a car, making it difficult.
