Synchrony Financial Consumer Loan department,
Installment loan Taking out the loan or lease Montana
In 2014 I purchased a - - exercise machine for approximately $3000.00. I was offered a promotional no-interest finance arrangement. I asked for and was told that the monthly payments would cover the promotion period and that I would not be charged any interest as long as I made those payments and that this would cover the purchase in full. I unfortunately did not pay close enough attention because this was apparently not done. Now I discover I have paid over $1800.00 in interest and still owe $2100.00 on the note. I offered to pay the remaining principle balance of $ approximately $1100.00 but was told this would not satisfy the obligation. I am being charged 29.99 % interest on the unpaid balance. I told them this was unacceptable, if not criminal, that I was misinformed or lied to and that I would not be making any further payments.
