I cosigned this loan for my son several years ago. At the time of the loan I was told that if consistent on-time payments were made over a two year period I could have my name removed from the loan. For the past - years consistent on-time automatic payments have been made but Navient refuses to remove me from the loan, due to an unrelated account my son has that is delinquent.
