I am under the impression that there is a fairly new law, within 10 years, that states when a consumer makes a credit card payment the amount goes to the higher interest rate first. I have a credit card with Chase Bank that I make more than the minimum payment and a portion of it is going to the - % balance with most going to the - % balance. I would like to find out if that is okay for a company to do that, or is Chase applying my payment incorrectly? Thank you!!
