I have a loan thru - - - which they are processing with Chase Financial. On top of my required monthly loan payment, I am paying additional monies in my monthly payments which I wish to have applied to towards the principal balance as authorized in my loan agreement. Chase is refusing to apply the additional payment to the principal balance. They have advised me that they are applying the additional payment towards any future monthly installment payments but they claim that they hold the extra monies in a " separate '' account for future installment loan application purposes. Chase has refused to process the additional monies towards principal as specified in the loan agreement. Any assistance you can provide would be appreciated.
