I signed for a loan, signing my mother 's name ( - - ) as a co-signer. I informed Navient that my mother never new of the loan. My mother saw - accounts for Navient listed on her credit reports twice. She was extremely upset and I did admit it was - loan not - and I informed her it was for a third less than the amount in which she indicated. They have - account as - for the amount of $63000.00 and account number - for the amount of $71000.00. I do not know why they have the loan listed twice, it was only - loan and it was no where near the amounts they have listed. She contacted the company several times and informed them that they had a mistake on her credit reports, they indicated she co-signed with me, She informed them she did not, she never knew anything about a loan, which I confirmed that is the truth. They are aware as she has also filed complaints and they still want to hold her liable for a loan she never authorized. She contacted me in which I apologized, during that time my father and brother were battling - and I did not want to ask, but I did not have any right to sign her name. She informed me that I better contact them because she could not be held liable. I finally notified them over a year ago that she was n't the party who signed for the - loan and informing them that my mother knew nothing of the loan and is n't responsible. They still have not removed these accounts from her credit reports. They have overcharged and imposed excessive fees and added an additional account that I never had.
