I received a phone call this morning from naviant attempting to collect a payment on my student loans. They have been in default do to financial hardship this year which I have been in touch with them all along and they know each situation. They told me I needed to make a payment and they needed it now. I said I do n't have the money by I just lost my job they said you need to get the money whether it be a bank a credit card or - paying it for me I said I have nothing and no one who can pay it. They told me to make phone calls and to put them on hold. I said there is no one I can call they became threatening and told me they were going to take action with out telling me what action, and that they needed me to get them their money. I said I could n't have it for them right now they said they were n't going to wait. This conversation took over a half hour in the morning after the day I lost my job. I am a good person but feel like they are making me out to be a criminal. I have no problem paying when I have the money but they hound me and make accusations and tell me they are going to take action I honestly scared. They asked me about my tax return witch I do n't want to give info on my taxes to anyone. I feel violated and harassed with the calls I get and the information they wanted to give them.
