Sallie Mae Student loan department,

Non-federal student loan Can't repay my loan Can't decrease my monthly payments California

Sallie Mae is giving me the " run around '' when trying to get payment assistance. All departments transfer me to other departments, each stating that it is the previous department that can help. This cycle has happened 4 times that I have contacted sallie mae. The customer service center only offers a forbarance program which does not make affording the payments any easier. There was mention of a Rate Reduction program but each person I talked to referred me to another person who could " help '' all said it was another person. Again this happened 4 times. They have the absolute worst customer service. And are not willing to help at all.
