Non-federal student loan Dealing with my lender or servicer Keep getting calls about my loan Connecticut

Hi, Navient, despite my telling them that I can not pay the outrageous $ - private loan, are calling me -5 times per day. I told them that calling me that many times is not going to make me all the sudden have the money. The person said they do n't care. It is unecessary harassment as far as I am concerned. The bankruptcy laws written for student loans have allowed the colleges to raise their prices exponentially and now an entire generation has fallen victim to their ability to get guaranteed loan money. This is a consumer protection issue. I want the calls stopped. When congress acts to allow for student loans to be discharged in bankruptcy I will go through that process. That is how this will end. They will not be payed on this predatory loan. I took that loan as a - - - who thought that good paying jobs would be available to justify the expense. That has not been the case for me and many people my age, instead there is an epidemic. I am on social security - for my inability to work. I have applied to have the private loans discharged like my federal loans were and they have denied me 3 times. I am saying no to this corrupt government practice of not allowing discharge of debt through bankruptcy, it is equal to debtor prison, it is unjust, and it will be defeated.
