I am enrolled in an automatic debit payment plan with Navient. They take - out of my account on the - of every month. They are claiming that I am late in my payments and charging me a late fee for my loans because even though the date they take the loans out of my account is on the -, my due date is actually set up on the -. This was unknown to me when I set up the payment plan. I have contacted them over 5 times about this and the past 3 attempts to fix it, someone at Navient has said they were going to refund my late fee and fix the issue however that has yet to happen. I am concerned because I am getting charged a late fee when I do n't feel like it is fair to charge me a late fee, and it is affecting my credit and also hurting my chances of releasing my co-signers which requires 24 months of consecutive non late payment. Navient has set up my monthly debit payment in a way that it is taking more money from me and making it impossible for me to advance further in my economic independence.
