Vehicle lease Managing the loan or lease New Jersey

My Volvo was in a collision on -/-/2015. The damage resulted in the car being a total loss. The insurance paid the leasing company, US BANK, less our $500.00 deductible. Our lease payment is due IN ADVANCE of use on -/-/- ... Every payment has been made on time. I made the payment of $470.00 for - 2015 and I believe that amount should be credited to the $500.00 deductible since I did not have use of the vehicle for the month of - which I paid. I have been fighting wit US Bank for over 9 months about this and they refuse to credit the payment.
