Discover Credit card department,
I paid to get a - put in my truck on - -, 2015 by - - in -, Mo. Immediately after I called - to let him know the - did n't work. I brought it back and he said it was n't his problem it was the truck. We just bought the truck so I called the dealer, -, they looked at it and said that it was a faulty - that - installed. My husband called - at - and he said he did n't want to talk to us again nor see the truck again. We filed a dispute with Discover credit card company, in -. Then we took our vehicle to the dealer, -, to have them replace the - so we would have a - that worked. We sent the receipt to Discover along with a letter from the service manager stating the - was the problem. - at - - claimed he did everything right and that he tried contacting us on numerous occasions, which he did AFTER we paid to have the truck repaired. Then Discover found in - - 's favor even after we showed proof that we had to pay someone else to fix what - would not. We are extremely frustrated with the process that was taken and feel that we have been wronged by Discover as well as - -. All we want is our refund for what we paid for the - and our down time for the truck being out of service. We were without the use of our vehicle for several days due to the mishandling and unwillingness to fix the problem the merchant created. I have filed numerous letters with Discover and they say that the issue is resolved. I am out the money I paid - as well as what we paid to the - dealer to fix our truck. Not to mention the vehicle being down and unable to be used do to this problem.
