I recently paid off a vehicle with Chase Auto Finance, the exact date being - - ( considering we were n't allowed to submit payments - - - ). The normal procedure as stated on the website was then to issue me my title to the vehicle within two business days. Well, it has been over a month and I have yet to receive it. I have called numerous times and each time I speak to someone they have to issue a " request '' to a different department to get my release issued and title mailed and also, to close my account. They then give me a ten day deadline, and ask that I call after the ten days has ended. Each time, they simply postpone the deadline. I finally drive to a storefront Chase Bank who then says they are going to overnight me my title. I received this letter the next, and all it includes is a lien-release. I go to the - who then says they can do nothing for that. All I want is my title, which I rightfully own, and for this company to stop reporting to the credit bureaus that I have an open account when I paid it off over a month ago. I have been a good customer and have paid my loan in full in good faith, and they ca n't even issue me my title to my vehicle and give me what I rightfully own. This has even prohibited me from selling my vehicle twice, a total of $25000.00 lost.
