I purchased a vehicle in - - with GM Financial ( Ally subsidiary ) and was charged an exorbitant interest rate! I just learned about a DOJ settlement requiring Ally to reimburse minority customers who were charged unfair rates for purchases from - - - -, and I fall under this category. However, I was NEVER notified of this DOJ lawsuit/settlement agreement & am now being told " too bad - you missed the deadline! ". Ally is NOT notifying all affected consumers & I believe it 's to reduce their payout loss ratio!
