Working night and day right now to stave off attacks from Navient. After hiring an attorney and disputing the debt for my education ( a huge economic loss ), the debt should go into a " disputed '' status. Which means by law I can withhold payments while the investigation is taking place. The creditor may not take any legal or other action to collect the disputed amount and related charges ( including finance charges ) during the investigation. Everyone is entitled to dispute a debt and investigate the lender for any violations of the contract or validation of the debt. In most cases, the lender would not even be able to provide proper documentation tying you to the debt. These violations, combined with unlawful debt collection practices, and the complete disregard of the law ( by Navient ) is the reason behind this complaint. Cease and desist letters went out. Of course, I anticipated the Navient would report the loan as delinquent. And they did. This had a huge negative impact on my credit, of which I will be disputing my accounts with the credit bureau. After being bombarded with calls from the Navient,


unable to extract money from them. This has affected their credit as well as they are now unable to re-finance their mortgage. This has also affected family relations. We live in a - bedroom apartment with very little living space. We are unable to take out credit of any shape or form. The very basic requirements for living in today 's society and our entire future is currently on hold. NAVIENT IS A PREDATORY LENDER WITH NO REGARD FOR CONSUMER PROTECTION LAWS OR PEOPLE 'S LIVES. THESE LOAN SHARKS PREY ON - OLD HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATES WHICH ARE UN-INFORMED & INCAPABLE OF MAKING DECISIONS THAT WILL IMPACT THE REST OF THEIR FUTURE. THEY THEN ENGAGE IN DECEPTIVE BILLING PRACTICES AND INCORRECT CREDIT REPORTING, MAKING BASIC LIVING IN THE U.S. NEARLY IMPOSSIBLE. PLEASE ASSIST US IN BRINGING ACCOUNTABILITY AND JUSTICE TO THESE LOAN SHARKS.
