- -, - To : Consumer Protection Agency From : - - - - : Navient formerly known as - - Account Number : - My son, - - died on - -, -. I was co-signer on his loans ( see attached - dated -/-/- ). I sent the company paper work in which they had made a statement regarding the conditions under which the loans would be forgiven, - of which was death ( see attached file-Navientfinal ). The company is now refusing to forgive the loans. In addition to dealing with the grief associated with the tragic death of my son, I have been repeatedly harassed by this company. Several weeks after my son died I sent them the death certificate and requested forgiveness of the loans. Instead of honoring their agreement they began to call
When I found the original letter ( see attached ) they sent to me regarding forgiving the loans they refused to do so. I would like relief in the form of having these loans forgiven, my account cleared, and to be left alone by this company. Thank you - - -
