There is an account on my transunion report that does not belong to me. I have tried to contact the collection agency - whom is reporting this account and the phone numbers are disconnected and the fax numbers are no longer in service. I disputed this account with transunion and the response I got was this account was 'VERIFIED '. - did not verify this account because this company is no longer in business. I asked for the METHOD OF VERIFICATION that transunion used and got no response other than -. There is no way that this account was verified if it is gone out of business. This collection account has ruined my credit score tremendously and I am using CFPB as the last resort before pursuing legal action. - all accounts that do not belong to me. I have disputed these accounts numerous times with transunion as well as the collection agencies for VALIDATION and have not gotten a response in 30 days from the collection agency so I am certain that these - accounts have not been properly verified through transunion. I requested signed paperwork with my signature on it for validation that this account belongs to me and transunion nor the collection agencies verified not validated this fraudulent information. This is my last attempt for this fraudulent accounts to be removed immediately since they have not been validated.
