TransUnion Credit reporting department,
Incorrect information on credit report Account status North Carolina
I have ( - ) credit card entries from - - that I have no knowledge of. After applying for an auto loan a few months ago I discovered the inaccurate listings. I disputed them with the credit bureaus and they came back verified. I sent a certified letter to - - requesting an investigation. It has been over 45 days and I have not received anything back from - -. No signed contract, itemization of charges or any relevant or sufficient proof that gives them the right to collect on this debt or damage my credit rating. Under the FCRA and FDCPA this negligence is a clear violation. They being the original creditor have to right to verify anything but to only investigate my claim. Without proper records to indicate these accounts were indeed open by me by law they can not report the info to the credit bureaus. the following accounts are fraudulent. Account # - with a balance of $690.00 opened - and Account # - with a balance of $570.00 opened -/-/11.
